Chetanshil Women Group Honored Three Promising Professional Women on the Occasion of 98th International Women's Day, 2008. Jagaran Nepal President and NGO Federation of Nepal Central Secretary Sharmila Karki, Teakando Player Sangina Baidhya and  Journalist Simrika Sharma have been honored.

On the occasion of 98th International Women's Day, Jagaran Nepal with the support of Action Aid, organized an interaction program on "Violence against Women & HIV/AIDs" amidst the presence of Bhaktapur district Local Development Officer Rajkumar Shrestha as chief guest.

Women in Nepalgunj have decided to elect women candidates in upcoming CA Election. It is because that without women participation at decision and policy level, women rights will not be ensured. Thus to ensure women rights meaningfully, they have decided to elect women candidates in upcoming CA election.
