Capacity Development Training with Local Partner held in Kailali

Three day training was organized by JagaranNepal  on 15, 16 and 17  December, 2017 in Dhangadhi,Kailali  with the support of DCA under WoRLD Project ( Women's Representation and Leadership Development Project). The main objective of the training is to strengthen local partner ( board member and staff ) capacity development in conceptual clarityin human rights, women rights and quality of leadership.As we have been working as national partner, the training was provided to local partners for strengthening their organizational capacity. 
The program highlighted on how to lead the organization in an effective manner, what kind of role should be played by board member as well as staff.Major highlights of 3 days training was regarding  leadership development, individual leadership as well as organization leadership. Other conceptual focus were human rights as well as women rights and tools and mechanism of organizational development (OD). As advocacy is the major tool to implement organizational theme towards the community as well as to create pressure government, training program also focused in advocacy & networking mechanisms. 
Total of 22 participants participated in the three day program from local partners representatives, including  Dalit Women Rights Forum -  DWRF Kailali and  Dalit Welfare Organization - DWO Achcham.Jagaran Nepal outsources the training facilitator Mr. Suresh  KumarGautam and Mr. Shiv  LalPande. The program began with welcome remarks by Ms. Purna KalaRai , Project Coordinator and objective sharing by Ms. MeenaBista, Manager of Jagaran Nepal.
