EEDG Sharing Meeting organized

Jagaran Nepal and Himalaya Conservation & Development Association (HCDA) organized one day sharing meeting amid the participation of district, region and centre level staffs on 20th January 2013 at Jagaran Nepal Kathmandu.

Participants from each district presented the update status of Electoral Education and Democratic Governance program which has been implementing in five districts of Karnali since April 2012. Similarly HCDA regional level office and Jagaran Nepal also presented the progress status observed during the period.

The sharing meeting was chaired by Ms. Sharmila Karki, chairperson of Jagaran Nepal. Speaking in the meeting, Ms. Karki thanked all participants for their energetic involvement to achieve targeted activities. "This type of sharing meeting will really be panacea and helps to know the real ground work scenario to all" She added. She further expressed her believe that the team will do their best and Jagaran Nepal always play supportive and coordinative role with district and regional level team.

The main objective of this meeting was to exchange learning, achievements, challenges and way forwards. The total of 24 participants from centre, region and districts were present in project sharing meeting. EEDG project has been implementing in Karnali with financial assistance of European Union (EU).
