Jagaran Nepal Project Coordinator Kiran Chalise presented a paper on "Gender and Political Participation of Women in Nepal" in an international Conference on " Gender Equity and Exclusion in South and Central Asia: Emerging Challenges" organized by Dr. K.R Narayanan Centre for Dalit and Minorities Studies , Jamia Millia Islamia held in New Delhi on October 18, 2011. In the conference, more than 30 papers were presented by the distinguished delegates from South and Central Asian countries.
