I feel lonesome if I do not go for using computer

Teku Nepali, Vice President of Mukti Samaj and Coordinator of Gandaki Zone's Women Department affiliated to CPN-UML, is a daughter of Mother Dhana Shree and Father Jhalak Singh Mitrakoti. She appeared into this world in 1957. She had a political background before entering into politics as her father was an activist of several democratic movements. Being involved in politics in 1974, her party has given her different responsibilities in different time periods. She belongs to Manakamana VDC, Syanga district. She is a down to earth person with political commitment and sincerity.

She feels that she has a lot of changes due to English language and computer class provided by Jagaran Nepal. "I feel lonesome if I do not go for using computer in a single day. That's why I bought a computer in my house to do my computer works. Most of the work I do in computer and now I might have forgotten in manual writing", she shares with smile.

She further says" I have made different folders for different types of programs; there I can transfer my pictures from my camera. In addition, I usually browse different national and international sites from where I copy the text which are needed for my political sphere. Not only this, I am being able to write myself on computer and save it privately on my specific folders. Checking emails, sending replies and other computer related stuffs seem truly interesting for me and useful too, which has only been possible through the initiation of Jagaran Nepal. I do appreciate the works carried out by Jagaran Nepal for women political leaders' capacity building.

“Thus, on one hand I am being accustomed with English language and on other hand I am used to with computer. The combination of these would definitely make me a successful politician in the days to come”, she shares.
