Ms Meena Bista
Energetic and dedicated Program Coordinator Meena Bista, has been at Jagaran Nepal since 2002. She is also the founder Board member of Jagaran Nepal and general member of CWISH. At present she holds the position of Secretary in the board of Jagaran Nepal as well as Treasurer in AATWIN ( A Network against Women trafficking) . Ms. Bista graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. Currently, she is doing her Masters degree in Sociology from Tribhuvan University.
Since 1994 she has been actively involved in advocating for the rights of Nepali Women and children. At CWISH, she has an experience of 6 years, working for child rights. Her varied experiences include, as a trainer in conflict transformation, Peace building, Human rights/Women rights, gender, and leadership. She has effectively coordinated in different women empowerment programs as Program Coordinator. She has also been actively involved at national level to end violence against women. She has good knoledge and skill on project management and program implementation. She has knowledge on journal publication too.
She has keen interest and expertise in writing articles in various issues that also helps in raising awareness in different women rights issues. She has managed to visit 55 districts of Nepal including those geographically challenged areas like Achham, Doti, Dailekh, Baitadi.
