Jagaran Nepal on 61st Human Rights Day, 2009:27 December, 2009:
Jagaran Nepal took part actively in the rally of 61st International Human Rights Day on December 10, 2009. Amidst the presence of thousands of civil society members, human rights activists, women rights activists, NGOs, INGOs representatives and journalists, the rally started from Nepal Academy Hall and concluded at Nepal Academy itself by gathering up in a corner meeting. The slogan of 61st International Human Rights Day as Embrace Diversity: End Discrimination was chanted by the participants of the Rally. Different right-based-slogans- written banners could be seen in the rally.
