Resource Center
Jagaran Nepal has established its Resource Centre for providing the accessibility on resource materials on different subject matters like human/women rights, gender, violence cases, international conventions etc. Thus its basic purpose is to provide reading materials on subjects like women rights, good governance and peace in order to develop human resource in the mentioned fields. The resource centre has a collection of books, articles, reports and training materials related on human rights, women rights, gender, gender equality, advocacy, leadership, capacity building etc.

In the mean time it is our great pleasure to inform you that Jagaran Nepal has managed its resource center with full-fledged and innovative way. Some improvisations have happened in our resource centre.
The centre has been developed under library reference section on which one can be a member of our centre and s/he can have the access to the available books and other documents. We hope that this resource centre of ours will be of immense help to all the people working in the field of women rights, human rights, leadership, advocacy and other right based organizations. Now the resource centre has been improved through international library standard and we believe that the accession of availed documents, books and reports can be retrieved easily through new systematic library approach.
Major Functions of the Resource Centre:
In order to provide easy accessibility to in-house as well as other readers, Jagaran Resource Centre accesses, categorizes catalogues and indexes the information, documents and books obtained from various sources. As mentioned earlier our focus of collection goes to human rights, women rights, gender, reproductive health, communication , development, politics, social inclusion, advocacy , leadership, capacity building etc. Similarly, the centre maintains reports, documents, serials of newsletters published in the country and elsewhere and the publications of different organizations. Our collections help to the academicians, activists, journalists, researchers, development workers, student and others.
2) Production and Documentation:
The resource centre coordinates the publication of research books, in-house bulletins, E-newsletter, and other publications of Jagaran Nepal as per need. The manuals, posters, education and awareness leaflets, brochures, booklet, pamphlet, are also coordinated, maintained and documented by the resource centre. In the year 2005-07, Jagaran Nepal successfully brought out our following publications.
3) Library Service:
After improvising our resource centre, we have developed the centre as a reference section by providing a library service to our members. Any interested organizations, students, civil society members, activists, journalists and other individuals can be a member of our resource centre and they can have the access to the available books and other documents. We would like welcome them all to be the part of our resource centre.
